A construction project has forced the closure of another area highway. The Missouri Department of Transportation says crews will have a 24-hour work zone set up on a portion of Missouri Route K in Howell County from Monday at 8 a.m. through Jan. 15 at 3 p.m.

The road will be closed from the intersection of Missouri Route MM to the intersection of Missouri Route KK. Crews will be working to replace culvert pipes under the roadway.

The zone will be marked with signs, and motorists are urged to seek an alternate route.
