MH gets 4 wins in 5 junior high basketball games

Mountain Home picked up two wins hosting Annie Camp for three junior high basketball games on Monday.
The freshman girls’ game ended with the Junior Lady Bombers beating the Lady Whirlwinds 35-17. Laykin Moore paced Mountain Home with 13 points. The Junior Lady Bombers improve to 11-2 on the season.
The freshman boys’ game went down to the wire, as Mountain Home edged out Annie Camp 32-31. The Junior Bombers were led by Braiden Dewey with 18 points. Mountain Home is now 4-4 on the year.
Mountain Home’s only loss was in the eighth grade boys’ game, as they fell to Annie Camp 39-34. Ryder McClain and Lincoln Sherry were the Eighth Grade Bombers’ top scorers with 10 points each. Mountain Home’s record drops to 3-5.
All three teams will be back at home Thursday facing Paragould.

Mountain Home’s seventh graders had a successful night, as they picked up a sweep at Salem. The Seventh Grade Lady Bombers topped the Seventh Grade Lady Greyhounds 29-11. In the boys’ game, Mountain Home doubled up Salem 44-22.
