Basketball makes up much of the local Thursday schedule, as Mountain Home’s junior high season comes to an end with four teams playing at Batesville. The eighth grade girls will start in the main gym followed by both freshman games. The eighth grade boys’ contest will be held in the auxiliary gym. The start time is scheduled for 5 p.m.
Elsewhere on the junior high level, Marshall hosts Maumelle Charter, and Valley Springs entertains Green Forest.
In high school action, Norfork is home against Calico Rock for two girls’ games, Flippin travels to Alpena, Ozark Mountain hosts Kingston at St. Joe, Bakersfield’s girls entertain Bradleyville, the Gainesville girls make the trip to Hartville, Dora’s girls head to Alton, Salem travels to McCrory, Mammoth Spring is home against Hillcrest, Melbourne will send three girls’ teams to Mountain View, Rural Special makes the trip to Mount Vernon-Enola, and Lead Hill hosts Deer.
