Basketball makes up the local Monday schedule.
On the high school level, Cotter travels to Flippin, Yellville-Summit hosts Decatur, Bakersfield entertains Summersville, Gainesville’s girls make the trip to Koshkonong, the Dora girls are home against Seymour, Dora’s boys head to Koshkonong, and Marshall hosts Quitman.
The postseason continues on the junior high level, as three of the semifinal games in the 1A-2 Junior District Tournament will be played. Norfork’s girls entertain Viola at 5 p.m. in the Norfork Youth Center. On the boys’ side, top-seeded Norfork is home against Rural Special at 7 in the Bobby D. Hulse Gymnasium, and Izard County hosts Greers Ferry West Side at 5:30 in the Cougar Den.
The 2A-2 Junior District Tournament will continue. Salem’s boys play their opener at Tuckerman at 5. The semifinals will be held on the girls’ side, as Salem faces either Cedar Ridge or White County Central at 6, and Melbourne entertains Sloan-Hendrix at 6.
Mammoth Spring’s boys will play their first game in the 1A-3 Junior District Tournament. The Junior Bears are home against Hillcrest at 5:30.
The first round of the 1A-1 East Junior District Tournament will come to an end. Omaha’s girls travel to Deer at 4, and the Jasper boys host Deer at 7.
