BRMC announces more doses available for Friday vaccine clinic

Baxter Regional Medical Center has received an additional 1,000 Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines to be administered BY APPOINTMENT ONLY on Friday, Feb. 12, at the Baxter County Fairgrounds. Registration is open at www.baxterregional.org/vaccine and on the new Baxter Regional COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline at (870) 508-3100 from noon until 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 8 a.m. until all vaccines are allocated. Appointments are available while supplies last for those in Phase 1-A or partial 1-B ONLY, including adults age 70 years and older, as well as those working in healthcare or education and first responders who have not yet received a vaccine. The Baxter Regional COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline is only available when registration is open. If you are unable to get through, please keep trying. The facility is unable to take messages and return calls, as operators are busy registering patients. In the event that all vaccines are allocated, BRMC will change the voicemail message on the Baxter Regional COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline that registration is closed.You MUST be registered by phone or online and have a confirmed appointment to receive a vaccine. Please refrain from calling Baxter Regional’s main number or the COVID-10 Hotline. BRMC appreciates the public’s patience and understanding.In case of inclement weather, vaccinations will be rescheduled for a different day.
