HILLSBORO, Mo. (AP) – The former president of a police charity has been sentenced to probation after she stole money from the charity and used funds intended for a paralyzed officer for her personal expenses. Angela McMunn, of De Soto, was placed on five years of probation Tuesday and ordered to repay nearly $25,000 she stole. She pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property and unlawful merchandising practices. McMunn was president of Jefferson County Shop with a Cop, which helped underprivileged children. She also raised funds for former Ballwin police Officer Mike Flamion, who was paralyzed in a 2016 shooting. Prosecutors alleged she used money from both groups for personal expenses.
