Area legislator tests positive for COVID-19

An area legislator has tested positive for COVID-19. According to KATV, Arkansas State Rep. Marsh Davis informed the Speaker of the House of his positive test Friday.

A spokesperson for Davis says he was last at the Arkansas State Capitol in Little Rock on Wednesday. He is serving his second term in the House of Representatives. He represents District 61, including portions of Baxter, Fulton, Sharp and Randolph counties.

At least 11 Arkansas lawmakers have tested positive for the coronavirus.
