
The second round of snowfall got underway for the Twin Lakes Area Tuesday night. At KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, the official reporting station for the National Weather Service in Mountain Home, an additional 2 1/2 inches of snow have hit the ground. With some of the snow melting Tuesday afternoon, the snow depth is currently 8 inches at the studios.
Meteorologist Chuck Rickard from the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock says the snow will continue throughout much of the day Wednesday.

Currently, North Central Arkansas remains under a winter storm warning until noon Thursday. Southern Missouri is under a winter weather advisory until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Rickard encourages anyone who doesn’t need to be on the roads to avoid traveling.
