
The Mountain Home School Board approved a 1% raise across the board for salary schedules at its monthly meeting Thursday night.Superintendent Dr. Jake Long says the move was made in addition to the annual yearly step increases in the schedule.

The board also approved the purchase of 335 new Macbook Airs for a price of $284,778. Long says the purchase is part of an ongoing effort in the district and will be covered by federal funds.

Long also expressed his appreciation to school personnel who assisted in the district’s efforts during this week’s winter storm.
