High school basketball makes up much of the local Wednesday schedule, as district tournament play continues.
The 1A-2 District Tournament will hold its semifinals on the girls’ side. Norfork hosts Viola, and top-seeded Rural Special entertains Greers Ferry West Side. Both games tip off at 5 p.m.
The boys’ semifinals will be played in the 1A-1 East District Tournament. Ozark Mountain is home against Kingston, and Lead Hill hosts Deer. Both games will start at 5:30.
Mammoth Spring’s girls will play their first game in the 1A-3 District Tournament. The top-seeded Lady Bears entertain Armorel for a 4:30 tip-off.
The Mountain View boys will be on the road for their next game in the 3A-2 District Tournament. The Yellowjackets travel to Cave City with the start time at 7 p.m.
Two area girls’ teams will compete in the semifinals of the 3A-1 District Tournament. Top-seeded Bergman is home against West Fork, and Valley Springs hosts Elkins. Both games get underway at 6.
District play continues in Missouri, as two local boys’ teams will square off in the semifinals of the Class 2, District 10 tournament. Gainesville entertains Dora with the tip-off set for 6 p.m.
