The Mountain Home High School wrestling teams wrapped up the 5A-East Conference Tournament on a successful note. The Bombers and Lady Bombers will be keeping both championship plaques after hosting the event at the Hangar.
The Mountain Home boys beat Searcy in the team standings by seven points. Mountain Home had first-place finishes in weight categories from Tristan Blount, Drue Lindsey, Austin Callies, Elijah Lagg, and Aidan Richey. The Bombers also had runner-up finishes from Isaac Donais, Lawson Stockton and Brayden Daniel and third-place finishes by Michael Davis and Ethan Munden.
Mountain Home also beat Searcy on the girls’ side by 14 points. The Lady Bombers’ individual weight category wins came from Amelia Adams, Laurel Chafin, Maranda Jones, Amelia Frounfelter and Cayden Jones. Mountain Home had second-place finishes by Emmalyn Stephens, Kylee Sabella and Victoria Bevel, and Emma Martin took third in her weight class.
