
The Mountain Home High School baseball team had mixed results Wednesday playing a pair of baseball games in Rogers.
The Bombers began the day by falling to Heritage 5-2. Isaac House suffered the loss as he pitched five innings, struck out five batters and gave up three hits and three runs. Trent Jordan went two-for-three for Mountain Home, House was one-for-two with a walk and a run, Bryce McKay went one-for-three with a walk and an RBI, and Reed Ellison was one-for-three with a run.
The Bombers fared better later on in a game that needed five extra innings. Reece Ducker drove in the winning run in the 12th inning to send Mountain Home past Rogers 2-1. Logan Walker was the starting pitcher for the Bombers with 6 1/3 innings, a strikeout, six hits, three walks and an earned run. Dawson Tabor picked up the win in relief with 4 2/3 innings, three strikeouts, a hit and two walks. Ducker was two-for-five with an RBI, House went one-for-five with a run, Dawson Tabor drove in a run, and Walker ended up with a walk and a run.
