If you enjoy running, biking and floating, the Snowball Adventure Race may be right up your alley. The event along the Buffalo National River, sponsored by the Snowball Civic Club, is scheduled for May 8.
Participants will begin with a 5.5 mile run from Snowball to the Margaret White area on the Buffalo National River, followed by an 8.5 mile float to the Tyler Bend launch area and then an 11.5 mile bicycle ride back to Snowball via the Ozark Grinder Trail.
You will need to provide your own bike and boat, either a kayak or canoe. Personal floatation devices will be required.
Following the adventure, participants will be provided a free dinner and music.
Participants must be 17 years old, but there is a kids adventure race for those under the age of 12.
