The Izard County District Court has implemented an amnesty program through April 22. The program offers amnesty to those with active misdemeanor warrants.
Those who have failed to appear in court, failed to comply with court orders, or who are delinquent on fines and may have an outstanding warrant have an opportunity to avoid jail time and additional fees. This program offers waivers of warrants to individuals upon payment of fines and costs in full.
Also, for those delinquent on fines, this is an opportunity to make arrangements for payment before the court takes further action.
