Saturday was a rough day for the Mountain Home High School softball team as they lost their last two games of the Drew Melton Forever Young Tournament in Benton.
The Lady Bombers began the day with an 8-5 defeat at the hands of Marion. Marcie Cudworth went two-for-four in the game, and Georgia Burnham was one-for-four with two RBIs.
Mountain Home wrapped up the day by falling to Cabot 11-0. Burnham and Katelyn Hill each went one-for-two.
The Lady Bombers fall to 11-7 on the season, and they’ll return to 5A-West action on Tuesday when they host Russellville for a varsity doubleheader.
