The Boy Scouts of America Troop 156 will host a 5k fundraiser run to benefit the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas on May 8 at Big Spring Park in Cotter.
Registration is from 8 to 9 a.m., with the race to follow at 9:15. Ten percent of the proceeds will got to the Food Bank, with just $1 equaling five meals.
The entry fee is $25 for those that pre-register by May 1, or $30 on the day of the race. The event will include a timed 5k run, a one-mile fun run/walk and spirit runners, who are those that can’t attend the race, but would like to support a great cause. All that pre-register will receive a T-shirt.
