The Big Creek Men’s Golf League will begin next week. Members and non-members at Big Creek Golf and Country Club are welcome to play nine holes every Tuesday evening through either September or October. There is no age limit to participate.
The league will consist of two-man teams, and scores will be based on team handicaps established from league scores. Golfers without partners are still asked to go to the course to be matched up with a teammate.
Golfers can play from any tee they choose, but they must play the same tees throughout the round and the season. Exceptions can be made based on special formats changing weekly.
Fees include a $20 one-time registration per player, $5 weekly dues per player and a $25 weekly green fee for non-members. There will also be optional $10 skins per team each week.
Weekly cash payouts up to four-to-six places will be made the following week based on attendance. Gross and net winners will be determined. Team points begin accumulating on the fourth week of play to determine the league champions.
