
Mountain Home was among several junior high track teams competing in the Rosson Invitational Tuesday at Harrison.
The Junior Lady Bombers ended up third in the team standings. Yellville-Summit won the meet, Harrison was second, Bergman finished fifth, Omaha took sixth place, Valley Springs ended up eighth, Ozark Mountain was ninth, Flippin finished 10th, and Marshall took 11th place.
Mountain Home had an individual win from Mackenzi Clark in the 800-meter run. The Junior Lady Bombers also had teams win the 4×200-meter and 4×400-meter relays.
Yellville-Summit was led by K.J. Moore with her wins in the high jump and the 300-meter hurdles. The Junior Lady Panthers also took the 4×100-meter relay.
Mountain Home ended up fourth on the boys’ side. Harrison took the meet, Yellville-Summit was third, Ozark Mountain finished sixth, Omaha took seventh place, Bergman ended up eighth, Marshall was ninth, Valley Springs finished 10th, and Flippin took 11th place.
Robert Dover led the Junior Bombers with wins in the shot put and discus, Max Hough won the 1600-meter run, and William Hill won the 800-meter run.
