The annual spring cleanup for Methvin Sanitation in the city of Mountain Home will be Monday through Thursday. The event gives customers a chance to dispose of large items not normally picked up during regular curbside trash disposal.
Methvin says among the items they will pick up are: furniture, mattresses and box springs, Freon-free appliances, toys, bicycles without tires, push or self propelled lawn mowers with the gas and oil drained, tools, clothes, metal in short lengths, carpet cut into four foot lengths, fencing and lumber. Items they will not pick up include: electronics, yard waste or construction debris.
Mountain Home residents should have their items out at the curb by 6 AM on their normal trash pick-up day.
