MHHS soccer teams sweep Vilonia

The Mountain Home High School soccer teams had a good night Tuesday at Bomber Stadium as they were able to sweep Vilonia.

The Bomber boys came away with a 4-1 win over the Eagles. Gage Slaughter led Mountain Home with a goal and three assists, Jack Sheaner scored a goal and dished out an assist, Luke Hinson and James Douglas each added a goal, Chris Matusiak and Aidan Sanders each provided an assist, Luke Darracq recorded three saves, and Robert Dover also had a save.

Mountain Home also won the girls’ match 1-0 over Vilonia. Kenzie Hatman scored the only goal off an assist from Kirsten Stroud. The Lady Bombers ended up with 38 takeaways, and their conference record is now 4-4-2.

Both Mountain Home teams will travel to Vilonia on Friday. The boys’ match scheduled for Wednesday with Harrison has been canceled.
