MHHS softball team gets home win over Melbourne

The Mountain Home High School softball team picked up a win at home as they stepped out of conference play. The Lady Bombers defeated Melbourne 6-4 on Freedom Field at McClain Park.

Emma Crabb picked up the win in the circle with seven strikeouts. Georgia Burnham led the Mountain Home offense by going two-for-three, getting hit by a pitch and driving in two runs. Olivia Crabb was two-for-two with two sacrifice bunts and an RBI, Reagan Hasselwander went one-for-three with an RBI, Katelyn Hill was also one-for-three, and Mallorie Drewry went one-for-four and drove in a run.

The Lady Bombers improve to 14-9 on the season, and they’ll head to Greenbrier on Monday for a 5A-West doubleheader.
