A one-vehicle accident Monday night in Ozark County resulted in serious injuries to a Stoddard County man. Forty-year-old Shane Worthey of Bloomfield was transported to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Worthey was traveling on Missouri Highway 95. He was nearly two miles south of Wasola when his vehicle crossed the center line, overcorrected, traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned. Worthey was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.
Worthey’s vehicle was totaled in the 9:30 p.m. accident.
