Koester signs to play baseball at Central Baptist

The Mountain Home High School athletic department has again added to its growing list of seniors continuing their playing careers on the collegiate level. Tucker Koester signed a national letter of intent Tuesday to join the baseball program at Central Baptist College.

Koester says his decision to become a Mustang came after visiting the campus in Conway.

Koester is just in his second year at Mountain Home after his family relocated from Cincinnati. Bombers’ head coach Tim Carver says while Koester wasn’t able to get on the field as much as normal, due in part to the pandemic, he was able to show a will and a desire to keep improving.

Tucker is the son of Kent and Jennifer Koester of Mountain Home.
