A fire caused damage to a Mountain Home residence Friday morning. No one was injured during the fire at 43 Su Lane.
According to the Mountain Home Fire Department, the alarm came in at 9:22 a.m. when the fire started in an area near the heating and cooling equipment. The residence, owned by Chester Pederson, sustained 10% fire damage, 100% smoke damage and 20% water damage.
Nine personnel were on the scene for over an hour with two engine companies, and six more personnel were on standby.
