The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team earned a split of their double header Thursday night against North Central Arkansas at Brockwell.
The Lockeroom took the first game 8-4, aided by four North Central Arkansas errors. Carter Graves had two hits for Mountain Home. Noah Everett drove in two run for NCA. Logan Ballard worked six innings and struck out five to earn the win for the Lockeroom. Rhett Morrison recorded seven strikeout on the hill for NCA
The second game was a pitcher’s duel with North Central Arkansas prevailing 2-1. Morgan Edwards went the distance on the mound, allowing just two hits to get the win. Chase Orf and Landon Jones each drove in runs for NCA. Graves picked up an RBI for Mountain Home.
