
The ELKS Lodge #1714 and the Back Forty Restaurant co-sponsored the 10th-annual Veterans Benefit Golf Tournament Sunday at Twin Lakes Golf Course.
Brad Heinsohn and Shane Free won the men’s A Flight with a 62. Steve Smith and Travis Sullivan were two strokes back to finish second, and Steven and Hank Gamble ended up with a 65.
Joe Durham and Rich Frauenfelder took the men’s B Flight with a 70. Bob Amundsen and Keith Lewis captured the tiebreaker for second place over Travis and Levi Haught as both teams were one stroke back.
Three teams ended up at the top of the men’s C Flight with a 76. Tilley and Jesse Parnell won the tiebreaker, Jack Epley and Fred Pavlak ended up second, and Regan Curnutt and Jim Clifford took third place.
The women’s flight was won by Dar Zipper and Jeanie Jones, and Alyssa and Robbie Robbins captured the mixed flight. In addition, David Trammel won the prize for the longest putt on Hole 7, the longest drives were by Mike Parker for the men and Alyssa Robbins for the women, Levi Haught was the closest to the pin on Hole 2, and Glenda Prox was the closest to the squiggly line.
All proceeds will benefit the ELKS’ veterans programs.
