An area man is among three injured in a two-vehicle accident Saturday morning in Taney County. Thirty-four-year-old Robert Brothers of Harrison was transported by ambulance to Cox Medical Center South with what were described as serious injuries.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Brothers was a passenger in a pickup truck driven by 35-year-old Patricia Morris of Berryville on Missouri Highway 86. They were at the intersection with Ridgeview Drive, nearly four miles west of Ridgedale, when Morris lost control on the wet roadway. Her truck collided head-on with another pickup truck driven by 42-year-old Christopher Williamson of Palmura, Missouri.

Morris was also transported to Cox Medical Center South with serious injuries. Williamson was not injured, but his passenger, 33-year-old Kyle Eckler of Shelbyville, Missouri, was transported by a private vehicle to Cox Medical Center in Branson.

Both vehicles were totaled in the 7 a.m. accident.
