The Mountain Home High School junior varsity football team began its season with a win in front of the home crowd. The J.V. Bombers defeated Lighthouse Christian 21-8.
Brady Barnett had two first half touchdowns Mountain Home on runs of 71 and 5 yards. The J.V. Bombers’ third score came in the third quarter as Blake Bentley took a screen pass from Caleb Foster and ran it 25 yards to the end zone.
Mountain Home’s defense ended up with five sacks.
