
The Mountain Home Police Department has named the suspect arrested Tuesday evening in connection with a shooting that occurred earlier in the day.
Police Chief Eddie Griffin says that officers with the Mountain Police Department, the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force and the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office arrested Alex Jordan Jeschke at a residence in Ozark County around 5:30 Tuesday.
The 23-year-old Jeschke has been charged with attempted murder and is currently being held in Ozark County on a $500,000 bond.
Mountain Home officers received a call shortly after 2 Tuesday afternoon of a possible shooting at a residence on McClure Lane. Once on the scene, officers located a victim with gunshot wounds.
The victim was reported Tuesday evening as being in stable condition at Baxter Regional Medical Facility.
Chief Griffin says more information will be released at a later time.
