Mountain Home volleyball teams win 4 of 5 matches Tuesday

Mountain Home volleyball teams went 4-1 Tuesday night with the senior high playing at Batesville while the junior high teams were home against Paragould.

The senior Lady Bombers moved to 2-0 on the season with a 3-1 win at Batesville. Mountain Home won by scores of 25-19, 25-7, 21-25 and 25-11.

Kendall Carter led the way with 18 kills and 16 digs, Georgia Burnham had nine kills, Lindsay Jensen collected 28 assists, Carson Schmitz tallied 17 assists, Riley Schmitz finished with 12 digs, Cate Jackson had 10 digs and Lauren Wehmyer had 6 kills.

Mountain Home also won the J.V. match to improve to 2-0 on the season.

In Mountain Home, the junior high teams won two of three matches against Paragould.

The Junior Lady Bombers won by scores of 25-11 and 25-19. They are now 1-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

Mountain Home won the junior high B match by scores of 25-14 and 25-14 in their first match of the season.

Mountain Home lost the 7th grade match by scores of 21-25, 25-21 and 15-10 to fall to 1-1 on the year.
