Thursday’s local sports schedule include volleyball and golf.
In high school volleyball, Flippin travels to Marshall, Yellville-Summit makes the trip to Bergman, Salem heads to Quitman, Izard County travels to Alpena, Melbourne hosts Cave City, Valley Springs makes the trip to Clinton, and Harrison entertains Shiloh Christian.
On the golf schedule, Cotter, Flippin, Viola and Melbourne will compete at Cooper’s Hawk Golf Course in Melbourne, Izard County will be at the Golf Course on Turkey Mountain in Horeshoe Bend, and Bergman and Valley Springs will play at the Carroll County Country Club in Berryville.
