John Campbell entered the Big Creek Senior Men’s Match Play Club Championship as the No. 14 seed, but he exited with the championship trophy for the third consecutive year.
Campbell won his opening match over third-seeded Robbie Robbins in 20 holes, and he needed 21 to past 11th-seeded Jerry Coffman. Campbell topped Joey Sample 3-and-1 in the semifinals and advanced to face eighth-seeded Mike Robbins. Campbell won the title match 4-and-3.
Campbell also won the Big Creek Senior Stroke Play Championship in 2017 and 2020.
