Mountain Home Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Jake Long will host a Walk-In Wednesday event Sept. 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the district’s Administration Building to discuss various issues related to the back-to-school season; including the current mask resolution, school dress codes, facility needs, and any other pertinent topics. The Board of Education will also be present to engage in conversations from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Long has hosted Walk-In-Wednesday events each quarter for the past several years, but for this event he has adjusted the time frame in order to accommodate visitors’ different work schedules and to provide a platform for a conversation between the public and the Board of Education.

Parents, district employees, and community members are encouraged to come in at any time throughout the day to visit with Long at this informal event. He also plans to host additional Walk-In Wednesday events throughout the school year.

The district’s administration building is located at 2465 Rodeo Drive. For more information about Walk-In Wednesday, call 425-1201.
