
The Mountain Home Junior High football team continued to roll Thursday night with a 42-0 whipping of West Memphis Wonder at Bomber Stadium.
Both of the Mountain Home quarterbacks threw a pair of touchdown passes. Ryder McClain was three for three through the air for 97 yards and the two scores while Jackson Criner went two for two for 82 yards and the two TDs.
Jacob Chenoweth led the receiving corps with 82 yards and two touchdowns while Drew Lamey and Talon Palmer also reeled in touchdown catches.
On the ground, Christian Cruse had 31 yards and a touchdown.
Defensively, Chenoweth had five tackles, returned a fumble 55 yards for a touchdown and intercepted a pass. Noah McKay had eight tackles, Noah Recktenwald had five, Barrett Miller had five stops and an interception and Issaac Wiggins had a sack and forced fumble.
Head coach Greg Crow says “Thought our kids played well. We spent most of the week working on us and trying to get better so it was good to win. If we are going to continue to win going forward we gotta be on our “A” game the next 4 weeks. We need to watch this film and get back to work.”
