Lady Bombers’ volleyball suffers close loss to Greenbrier at home

The Mountain Home High School volleyball team suffered a tough loss at home Thursday evening, faling to Greenbrier 3-2. Greenbrier won by scores of 24-26, 25-16, 25-17, 21-25 and 17-15.

For the Lady Bombers, who fall to 9-4 overall and 3-3 in the 5A West, Kendall Carter finished with 10 kills, four blocks and 16 digs; Lindsay Jensen had nine kills and 22 assists; Katelyn Hill had nine blocks; Tatum Smith finished with five blocks; Riley Schmitz amassed 26 digs; and Cate Jackson had 16 digs.

The Mountain Home junior varsity team is now 10-0 after topping Greenbrier by scores of 25-22 and 26-24.

Emma Wilber had 10 kills, Lily Hinson finished with 19 digs and Emma Crabb had 25 assists.
