One person was killed and two were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Boone County. The Arkansas State Police (ASP) identified the person killed in the crash as 74-year-old Judith Laverne Prichard of Bellfonte. Injured in the accident were 70-year-old Chris Neil of Harrison, the driver of the car Prichard was a passenger in, and 20-year-old Damien Corbin Stewart of Harrison, the driver of the other vehicle.
The ASP report indicates the crash happened when Neil attempted to turn left from U.S. Highway 65 in Bellfonte onto Center Avenue and his vehicle was struck in the passenger side by Stewart’s vehicle. Neil’s vehicle rolled onto its top and came to rest on the highway.
The accident happened at 5:07 Tuesday afternoon.
