The Mountain Home High School tennis teams won a conference title and had a runner-up finish and won two individual conference championships at the 5A West Conference Tournament, which wrapped up Tuesday at Russellville.
The Lady Bombers are 5A West Conference champs. Macie Heidi is the single champion after defeating players from Vilonia and Siloam Springs in the semifinals and finals. She will be the number one seed for the state tournament.
Also winning a conference title and number one seed for the state tournament is the doubles team of Macaela McLean and Cambelle Lance. They topped teams from Russellville and Van Buren Tuesday.
On the boy’s side, Mountain Home finished as conference runner-up. The doubles team of Alex Arp and Jacob Czanstkowski finished as conference runners-up and will be the number two seed for the state tournament. They defeated a team from Van Buren in the semis then lost to a team from Greenwood in the finals.
Dodge Harris finished fourth in the conference and will be a number four seed at state. He fell to players from Van Buren and Russellville on Tuesday.
