The Mountain Home High School football team’s next game at home is scheduled for Oct. 15, when they host Benton. But there will be more to the evening than a sporting event. The Bombers will mark the evening as Military and First Responder Appreciation Night.
Attendees will be able to enter the 7 p.m. game free of charge, if they provide military or first responder identification. Starting an hour prior to kickoff, military personnel (current or veteran) and first responders will be fed at the pavilion on the campus of Mountain Home High School Career Academies.
In addition, there’s still an opportunity to raise funds for the Bob Davis Veterans Center in Mountain Home. T-shirts are being sold with the MH logo on the front. The back includes the Clay Maxey Chevrolet-Cadillac logo and a message reading “THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!” Shirts are $15 each and must be ordered by 3:30 Friday afternoon. Military members and first responders will need to register, but shirts are free of charge.
