The Twin Lakes Area will be represented by six area volleyball teams during this week’s state tournaments.
Mountain Home will be at Marion for the Class 5A State Tournament in a match up with Benton on Tuesday. The Lady Bombers are 12-9 and ended up as the third-seeded team in the 5A-West. The Lady Panthers are the No. 2 seed in the 5A-Central with a record of 23-4. Tuesday’s match is scheduled for 2 p.m.
Three local teams will take part in the Class 2A State Tournament Tuesday at Quitman. Yellville-Summit will meet Mansfield at noon, Flippin faces Thaden at 4, and Cotter takes on Life Way Christian at 6.
Bergman will compete in the Class 3A State Tournament Tuesday at Paris. The Lady Panthers play Hoxie at noon.
Harrison will head to Springdale Tuesday for the start of the Class 4A State Tournament hosted by Shiloh Christian. The Lady Goblins will be paired with Jonesboro Westside at 6 p.m.
