Monday to be busy night for basketball

Basketball makes up much of the local Monday schedule.

On the high school level, Cotter travels to Lead Hill.

The second round of the Jasper Junior High Tournament will get underway. In girls’ action, Viola and Kingston tip off at 4, and the host Junior Lady Pirates face Mount Judea at 7:45. On the boys’ side, Viola meets Omaha at 5:15, and Valley Springs takes on Kingston at 6:30.

Mammoth Spring’s junior boys will play on the consolation side of the Bill McCurley Invitational Tournament at Sloan-Hendrix High School in Imboden. The Junior Bears will be paired with Hillcrest at 7:45.

In other junior high basketball, Norfork hosts Bergman, and Flippin makes the trip to Calico Rock.
