An Ozark County woman, 38-year-old Cassie A. Wallace of Theodosia, was injured Monday morning when she was ejected from the UTV she was driving.
Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred at 11:20 on U.S. Highway 160 in Theodosia.
The report notes Wallace was eastbound when she noticed the driver side door was not completely latched. When she opened the door, it ejected her out of the vehicle and onto the roadway where she was struck by the UTV.
Wallace was transported by private vehicle to Baxter Regional Medical Center for treatment of “moderate” injuries.
