In basketball results from Tuesday night, Cotter won two of three games at Kingston. The Lady Warriors improved to 2-1 on the season with a 51-40 win. Kate Cheek led the way with 22 points.
Cotter won the senior boys’ game 61-53. Jeffry Haynes led a balanced attack with 18 points, Hudson Adams scored 15, and Hayden Hutson finished with 13 points.
Cotter lost the junior girls’ game 36-24 to fall to 4-3 on the season.
In other high school boys’ action, Flippin was a 51-44 winner over Jasper, Calico Rock got past Lead Hill 60-44, and Ozark Mountain lost to Southside Bee Branch 70-57.
In girls’ play, Ozark Mountain fell to Southside Bee Branch 69-58, and Calico Rock was a 42-35 winner over Lead Hill.
