In high school basketball Thursday night, Calico Rock and Ozark Mountain split their games. Calico Rock won the boys’ contest 79-71. Ozark Mountain took the girls’ game 57-20.
In junior high hoops, the Viola junior girls topped Sloan-Hendrix 40-34. Marissa Hutson had 12 points and nine rebounds, Jaden Fry scored 11 points, and Cheyenne Newberry had 10 points. The Junior Lady Longhorns improve to 3-1 and will host Hillcrest Monday night.
