The owner of a local barbershop was arrested by the Arkansas State Police Thursday morning on a child pornography charge. Thirty-four-year-old Steven Walski of Mountain Home was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center on a count of possession of child sexual abuse material.
According to the state police, Walski was arrested around 8:10 a.m. as he exited a vehicle in Mountain Home’s downtown business district. He had recently relocated his business, Legionnaire Barbershop, to the Baxter County Courthouse square from the Georgetown Square.
Walski is free after posting a bond of $25,000. The state police say the investigation is continuing.
