Friday basketball results include Ozark Mountain getting swept at Wonderview

Ozark Mountain’s high school basketball teams had a rough night Friday at Hattieville as they were swept by Wonderview. The Lady Bears were edged out by the Lady Daredevils 63-62. Ozark Mountain also lost to Wonderview 82-57 on the boys’ side.

The Mammoth Spring High School teams were able to sweep Maynard on the road. The Bears beat the Tigers 47-34 in the boys’ game. The girls’ contest was more lopsided as Mammoth Spring pounded Maynard 80-34.

Lead Hill ended up getting swept at its homecoming by Eureka Springs.
The Highlanders squeaked by the Tigers 51-49 in the boys’ game. Cody Paul led Lead Hill with 17 points, Will Mancinelli scored 11, and Jayce Williams added 10.
Lead Hill did not fare any better in the girls’ game as they fell to Eureka Springs 36-22.

Bergman was dominant in its high school games at Kingston. The Panthers toppled the Yellowjackets 76-50 on the boys’ side. Bergman’s girls also beat up on Kingston 74-46.

Valley Springs had mixed results as they hosted another group of Tigers from Pangburn. Valley Springs took the girls’ game 63-48. The boys were not as fortunate as they fell to Pangburn 71-59.

Jasper had a pair of easy wins as they welcomed in Thaden from Bentonville. The Pirates doubled up the Barnstormers 54-27 in the boys’ game. Jasper also destroyed Thaden in the girls’ contest 65-15.
