In high school basketball Monday night, in girls’ action, Rural Special was a 59-45 winner over Southside Bee Branch, Lead Hill was edged out by Lincoln 48-47, and Harrison got past Dardanelle 46-37.
In boys’ action, Rural Special lost to Southside Bee Branch 60-46.
In junior high action, the Viola junior girls topped Hillcrest 43-19 to improve to 4-1 on the season. Marissa Hutson led the scoring with 12 points. The Junior Lady Longhorns open conference play Friday night against Shirley.
