Mixed results for MHJH basketball teams in season openers

It was mixed results for the Mountain Home Junior High basketball teams Tuesday night against Harrison.

Playing at home, the Junior Bombers topped Harrison 41-40. Rhett Gilbert and Ryder McClain each scored 12 points for Mountain Home.

Harrison won the eighth grade boys’ game 33-18. Jackson Corp led Mountain Home with nine points.

Playing at Harrison, the Junior Lady Bombers lost 31-28. Laykin Moore scored nine points for Mountain Home.

Harrison topped Mountain Home 25-23 in the junior girls JV game. Lauren Rauls paced Mountain Home with nine points.

Mountain Home won the seventh grade girls’ game 15-6.
