The Mountain Home Junior High girls’ basketball team got their first win of the season Tuesday night, topping Rogers Heritage 32-26 at the Bentonville Tournament. Mountain Home raced out to a 13-0 lead after one quarter, but that lead was down to three heading into the fourth.
Whitten Coleman led the scoring with nine points, and Laykin Moore and Bailey Ritenburg each scored eight.
The Junior Lady Bombers are 1-2 and will play Fayetteville Purple Thursday night at 7 in Bentonville.
