The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration has announced the revenue office in Mountain Home will be closed this week. According to department spokesperson Scott Hardin, the temporary closure is needed to protect the health and safety of employees and citizens.

Hardin says the office will reopen when an adequate number of employees are available for normal operation. All other revenue offices in Arkansas will be open for normal hours Monday through Wednesday and closed for Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday.

Many trips may be avoided due to the revenue office-related services now offered online. Arkansans can complete services including registering a vehicle, renewing vehicle registration, ordering a replacement driver’s license, ordering a personalized license plate, transferring vehicle ownership and paying an account balance.
