
In high school basketball Monday night, the Cotter boys were 54-43 winners over Life Way Christian. Colton Jones led the scoring with 19 points, and Hudson Adams added 12.
Cotter won the junior boys’ game 42-8 behind the 20 points of Cole Marler.
The Flippin boys slipped past Lead Hill 60-57. Rylann Robbins paced the Bobcats with 22 points. For Lead Hill, Cody Paul had 18 points and 11 rebounds, Will Mancinelli scored 13 points, and Dustin Turner added 11.
Flippin won the girls’ game 67-41.
The Yellville-Summit teams won two of three games against Berryville. The Lady Panthers were 52-51 winners.
Yellville-Summit won the junior boys’ game 28-23.
Berryville took the junior girls’ game 28-25.
In other high school boys’ action, Calico Rock lost its first game of the season, losing to Drew Central 49-45 to fall to 10-1 on the year; Bergman was an 80-62 winner over Mountain View; Jasper topped Alpena 66-60; and Harrison held off Pottsville 73-67.
In other girls’ action, Mountain View was edged out by Central Arkansas Christian 53-52, and Harrison lost to Pottsville 71-58.
